Mr. Yoshimi, Assistant Manager of the Seafarer Strategy Management Team, spoke on seafarer welfare, culture, and the future direction of seafarer management.
▲ Understanding of EEXI & CII
Mr. Kim Siwon, Technical Superintendent, explained the objectives, calculation and compliance requirements, vessel actions, implementation schedule, and the global impact of EEXI and CII regulations.
▲ Alcohol Policy and Guidelines
Ms. Bae Hye-jeong, Manning Superintendent, presented MOL’s current alcohol policy and guidelines.
▲ Safety, Health & Compliance
C/E Kitaoka, Managing Executive Officer of the Ship Management Department, discussed recent incidents within the MOL fleet, focusing on safety, health, and compliance.
▲ Mitigation Plan of Roll-Over
Mr. Osamura, HSEQ & Marine Superintendent of the Safety and Operation Team, explained LNG cargo roll-over, including its definition, judgment methods, examples, and mitigation plans.
▲ Starlink Network Update
Mr. Noda, General Manager of the Crewing Team, provided updates on the trial operation of the Starlink network on MOL ships and outlined future plans.
▲ The seminar concluded with a Closing Message from Mr. Ota, President of MOL LNG Transportation.He offered encouragement and support to all participants, promising a bright future ahead.
▲ Finally, a ceremonial certificate distribution took place. This seminar provided an opportunity to share the latest developments in LNG ship operation and safety management, reaffirming the shared safety vision of Dongji Maritime and the MOL Group.
