Owner's Inspection & Internal Audit
The vessel inspection team is a department of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), conducting owner's inspections and internal audits at the request of Ship Management for LNG vessels.
The inspection standards are based on international regulations (SIRE 2.0, SOLAS, MARPOL) as well as international standards related to quality, environmental, and safety management (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), supporting the safe and efficient management of MOL LNG vessels.
KEY TASKS
- Conducting Owner's Inspection and Internal Audit for MOL LNG vessels
- Verification of SMS procedure compliance
- Assessment based on international regulations and standards such as SIRE 2.0, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO 9001/14001/45001
- Reporting improvement points and collaborating with Ship Management
REQUIRED SKILLS
- International regulations and maritime knowledge – Expert knowledge of key regulations such as SIRE 2.0, SOLAS, MARPOL, and LNG vessel operations
- Analysis and problem-solving ability – Capability to identify and resolve various issues arising during inspections
- Communication skills – Smooth cooperation with crew, Ship Management, and stakeholders
- Global competence – English proficiency for international work
