▲ 2024년 11월 8일, MOL 직원, 해상직원, 그리고 동지해운 직원들이 함께 모여 해상직원을 위한 세이프티 세미나가 개최되었습니다. On November 8, 2024, MOL employees, seafaring staff, and Dongji Maritime employees gathered together for a safety seminar dedicated to seafaring personnel.
▲ Opening Message – Capt. Ogura
세미나는 MOL 본사의 Captain Ogura 부장님의 말씀으로 시작되었습니다. 시간 관계상 직접 참석하지 못해 MOL 사무실에서 원격으로 격려의 말씀을 전하였으며, MOL의 긍정적인 확장 방향과 비전, 안전 운항의 중요성을 강조했습니다. 또한, 노후 스팀 선박의 FSRU(Float Storage and Regasification Unit) 개조율 증가에 따라 steam plant 기술 수요가 꾸준히 늘고 있음을 설명했습니다.
The safety seminar began with remarks from Captain Ogura of MOL headquarters. Due to time constraints, he joined remotely from the MOL office, offering encouragement and highlighting MOL’s positive expansion, vision, and the importance of safe navigation. He also noted the rising demand for steam plant expertise, as more aging steam vessels are converted into FSRUs (Float Storage and Regasification Units).
▲ Safety Awareness / Alcohol Incidents – Hayakashi & Nishida
MOL 본사 HSEQ team의 Hayakashi san은 안전 의식의 중요성을 강조하며, 효과적인 BRM(Bridge Resource Management)과 ERM(Engine Room Resource Management)을 위해서는 SMS(Safety Management System)의 지원뿐 아니라 올바른 선박 업무 문화가 뒷받침되어야 함을 설명했습니다.
Hayakashi san, Supervisor of the CHSEQ team at MOL headquarters, emphasized that effective BRM and ERM require not only the support of the SMS but also the establishment of a positive onboard work culture.

Opinions on the topic of safety awareness were shared with the captains and chief engineers attending the seminar.
▲ 또한 MOL 본사 crewing team의 코디네이터 Nishida san이 개정된 SMS Alcohol 규정에 대해 설명했습니다.
Nishida san, Coordinator of the MOL headquarters Crewing Team, provided an explanation of the revised Alcohol regulations in the SMS.

MOL LNG 선박관리사 Ship Safety Division의 Captain Saito 부장님이 인적 오류와 해결책을 주제로 다양한 사고 사례와 예방 조치를 공유했습니다.
Captain Saito, Head of the Ship Safety Division, presented incident cases and preventive measures under the theme of human error and solutions.

MOL LNG 선박관리사 전무이사 C/E Kitaoka 상이 안전, 건강 및 규정 준수를 주제로, 최근 MOL 선단에서 일어난 사고 사례와 안전 관리에 대해 설명했습니다.

동지해운의 Inspector Jeon Byungheon (C/E)이 Unified Safety Management System (USMS) 개발 진행 상황과 개선 방향, 체크리스트 개발 원리에 대해 발표했습니다.
Inspector Jeon Byungheon (C/E) shared progress updates on the USMS being developed for MOL LNG fleets across Europe, Asia, and Japan, as well as the principles of checklist development.

액화가스 선대의 Fleet & Service Strategy 팀 수석 보조인 Sugimoto san이 MOL LNG 사업의 비전과 미래 전략을 설명했습니다.
Mr. Sugimoto, Senior Assistant of the Fleet & Service Strategy Team for the LNG fleet, outlined MOL’s LNG business vision and future outlook.
